24 Foot 6 Inch Spectra Day Cruiser
In terrific condition. 20 minute static test it in the water July 2022, after a major service and installing new brakes. Terrific bottom, minimal gel coat cracks on the topsides. Current 2023 license and mussel fee. Have been working on the boat for several years. Polished it, installed new trim parts (blue spray shield), and looked over details that needed attention. Runs very strong. Sounds healthy, great oil pressure. Trim tabs work well. While we dry tested it after the static water test, the alternator was not up to standard. Replaced the alternator. Runs to specification now.
We took it for a fresh water "sea trial" 8.28.22. The boat runs strong, is smooth, lots of power, healthy sound, no issues. Not a wet boat.
It is overbuilt. A little history: the Coast Guard bought these boats and used them for ocean interdiction. The boats in many configurations, raced in SoCal (San Pedro to Catalina for an example). This boat is very solid. They were a hand layup boat, and it shows. There is no internal hull rattling when it hits a wave or chop.
