It keeps downloading part of the core and then failing at about 800,000 bytes.

    Is this fairly normal?

Depending on your machine, it will stay there for quite some time. Some will move from that every 10 minutes, some every hour. Just depends on the speed of your stuff and how big the work package is.

I tried for weeks to have Havasu Hangin make the folding thread a stickey, I guess its because it was me asking that it never happend. I hope with the new site, we will have more members join the folding effort and we can all do our part to find a cure.

is there a better client to use than the [email protected] program. I am getting failure after failure with this. Been running it for 3 days now and it is still giving em a Core Download Error.

I don't run the same system you do so perhaps someone more knowledgeable than I am will chime in.

... but I think you need to minimize that window and not close it.
