    Default San Angelo Today

Two pro-mods sunk but both drivers okay. No other incidents. Our 10 sec boat had a bye 1st round cuz she was number one qualifier with 10.002! She is on stand by right now for 2nd round. The promod is still in the show & the are waiting on 3 round. We win this one & he has a bye to the finals!!!

I don't ever try and take pictures...leave that up to the pros. She got tree'd in the 2nd round then like the little speed demon she is, she broke out trying to catch him which she did.
The promod broke out in the 3rd round. As always, win or lose we had an awesome time. I will go steal some pictures off facebook and post them up in here.

Was there pit crewing for Mickey Snider in the 647 Pro Mod. Unfortunatly we broke out too in the second round but overall was a great weekend. San Angelo always is one of my favorites .

The two Pro Mods that sunk was Papa Jim and Tim Ortiz. Tim Ortiz sank saturday but had his boat ready to race sunday. I heard it sank because of a missing plug. Papa Jim sunk on Sunday (dont know if it was plug or if he was swapped when another boat took off). Both drivers were unharmed and recovered their boats.

Greg Lempar's Pro Mod almost sank due to a plug Sunday at the end of the track boat the rescue team was there to keep it afloat.

One Top Eliminator was not so fortunate. Cant remember the drivers name but I think the boat was Liquid Assests, The motor locked up at the end of the track and threw the driver. The boat was completly destroyed but fortunatly the driver only suffered a broken wrist.

Overall it was a great race weekend and thanks to all who sponsored and volunteered their time.
Beer is the answer... but I dont remember the question.
