    Default Directions

    If you are wondering to yourself where we race at I will tell you.

    Elephant Butte Lake State Park right in the center of New Mexico. Affectionately know as "The Butte" This lake is party central for hot boats in New Mexico.

    Take I 25 to exit 83, once you come to the stop sign at the end of the exit. you are now east bound go straight and follow the winding road for about 1.5 miles. To Rock Canyon Road turn left You are now north bound, then after about a half mile look for a sign on the right that says Hot Springs Landing and turn right, East bound again.

    Continue about 1/4 mile and when you come to a fork in the road follow the fork to the left, this road will lead you straight down into the cove we race in.

    Hot Springs Landing..........

    Everywhere is a boat ramp and we pit on the lake. Come race with us;

    Is there a good area to anchor and watch some passes while we're on the boat? My inlaws are here from overseas and we'll be at the Butte this weekend...would love to do some race watching while we're there.

    Also, is there a no-wake area through the area where the course is? Even if there's not, should I idle through there so as not to be disruptive?

    The area is buoyed off to boat traffic. You can park on the shore and walk down to the area where we pit. See the boats up close and meet the drivers. Watching and mingling is FREE.

    BE THERE AND BRING YOUR CAMERA........
