I bought an old day cruiser with an electric cav plate the actuator is missing the motor. Anyone know where to buy them and how many foot lbs of force it should be. I have found them on line but should the amount of force be 50lbs or 100 or 200? Thank for any help.

Pulled the floor up on the Spectra to get a look at the linear actuator and find it not even connected. The two (2) colored wires make sense as one up and one down. I assume the black wire to be ground but I don't see a ringlet or connector for it to attach to. Am I missing something?

The hatch actuator on my boat is starting to jam in the closed position. It is 5 years old. It took me about 10 minutes and several trys to get it to free up this weekend. Once free it works fine. Any ideas? The hatch moves freely. Can this thing be lubricated? Not sure who the manufacture is.

I'm switching to an air actuated bucket and getting rid of the cable and handle this winter. I have most of the parts to do it, just wanting to see some pics of how others have mounted the actuator and which one they used. I plan on mounting the switch on the steering wheel. thanks in advance

my cav plates are not moving , i have power to the actuator replaced the fuses but no movement, can you rebuild these or just buy one brand new? is there anything you can do to test them besides seeing if you have power to them? any help would be great.
