I just got a droop snoot because my original nozzel housing wore out. I'm running a Place Diverter with a 4* wedge. My qustion is, should I continue to run the wedge with the new droop snoot or ditch it?

Alright pump gurus out there... question regarding water flow at the droop snoot. Has anyone out there ever removed the center divider out of their droop snoot? Logic behind it being its one less "obstacle" water would have to flow around? Thoughts?
