    I had a loose rocker and it ended up wearing into the guide. I've looked for a replacement, but everything for an Olds looks different than what I got. I got a new rocker but when I go to tighten it, it still is able to slide because of the groove in the guide. Can anyone point me in the right...

    I hope a few of the head gurus answer this. When the heads (290) were set up all was well, now I have a valve guide holding a valve alittle tight? Bronze wall (not inserts). I have never seen a bronze guide tighten up like this. The valve is straight. IDEAS????? M

    I'm building a blown gas BBC 540 and just picked up a new set of AFR assembled heads. Ive read in a few places in pb forums to check the guide clearance especially for a blown deal.. I cant find info on how to do this, what tools are you using to measure them? Any help is greatly appriciated...

    I dunno, say I'm 9 to 1 alum heads. 10 LBS? I know there are tons of variables, I'm just wondering what would be the limit of boost for something like I've got? Pump gas wise, For me that's 91 octaine. I'm kinda thinkin I only need 1 turbo, like 10 lbs. of boost?? I'm one lost mofo,.. seriously.

    A couple of my intake rockers seem to be off the valve stem 1/4 of the width of the roller tip. All the exhaust rockers are perfect. I've got Manley guide plates, Crane roller setup, Crane gold rockers, 990 heads. Do the intake rockers seem to ride off the stem normally? I've heard of grinding...
