I'm in need of a rudder having hard time finding one for my boat so I'm going to have one made. Question is what kind of steel are they made of besides stainless steel can anyone help me on what type of steel would you use to have a rudder fabricated out of :confused:

Anybody ever seen one of these before? It is like the 4 bolt nose drive for a solid driveshaft like the ones we use on Circle boats, but this one fits a standard BBC Dampener with 3 3/8" bolts. How much HP do you think it could stand before sheering off the bolts? And I have no idea where I got it.
