    I bought an "Officejet J4540" HP printer a couple of years ago, and although I can usually coax it to print, it now refuses to SCAN for copies... I'll bet I've made no more than 2 dozen copies in this printer's life, and of course it's out of warranty... I called the "help" tech line and after...
