Looking for a BBC dip stick that the knob/handle is the stopper (or screws in)into the oil pan I've seen them on other boats but when I ask where they got them everyone says it came with the boat so some one out here has to know where to get them or fab one up for me.Thanks
I am looking for and aftermarket dipstick similar to a LoKar shorty dipstick that will fir a Velvet Drive transmission with a 5/8" opening in the case. LoKar only makes 3/4" dipsticks. Anyone know of a product that might work?
I like the idea of having a center throttle like the Baja Sidewinder or Scarab 23 SCS... Are there other "affordable" boats that have/had this setup? I believe some of the smaller CC Stinger's had this setup as well - although they did not have a true "pod" but just the throttle thrown in...
How are you guys securing yous dipsticks? I bought one online 455 olds specific, Theres a lot of resistance when pulling out and putting in the dipstick, If I dont hold the mounting base while pulling the stick out it will pull the whole think out, when is a pain in the ass to line up and get...
after running the boat for a while oil comes up from the dip stick .what could it be???its been doing this since i bought it its just a mess at the end of the day. 460 milled heads .baby cam..what could it be??

I'm doing some trailer fender repair. The original wood was rotted-
7/16 x 4" x 7' strip ply.
I would like to replace it with pressure treated but don't know if the fiberglass resin will bite to pressure treated plywood.
