I'm thinking about getting one but I've been a duramax guy for a while, how do the cummins transmissions hold up to towing and what/how much do you tow with it?

All The new to me deck boat has one of the billet ski tows like in the link below. How do you hook a rope to these? I have had the type that is a stainless ring that stands off the deck a couple of inches but never one of these. It would seem that if you just hooked it over the part that sticks...
