Do you sharpen the rotor on them?
Put a new OXC, Locked timing, small cap, rotor tip looks approx 5/16 wide, It kicks back on the starter pretty hard at times when cranking.
I did take a litle off the leading edge of the rotor, but havent tried it since I did that. Seems like it is cross firing...
