Post Customer Service @ Teague ?????? Wtf???

Now that I got your attention I just wanted to let everyone know about the service you get from Teague. I called then a few days ago about some blower stuff.
When I called, a soft pleasant voice answered "Teague Custom Marine". I asked " I then said May I please speak with customer support". She politely replied, "Sure, please hold a moment". A gentlemen picked up and said "This is Eric, how may I help you". Me and Eric discussed several options about a few blower setups. He peaked my interest about a particular item that they had in stock. So I asked him to tell me more. It was nearing 6:15(5:15 cali time) and he politely stated that he had to dig up some more info on this item. I then gave him my number and asked him to call me in the morning.
12pm the next day rolled around and no phone call. I thought, hmmmm, I wonder whats going on. So I placed another call to Eric. He replied "Mike, Im very sorry about the delay. We had a few things come up and things got a little side tracked around here. Ill get that info for you asap and Ill call you in 15 minutes". My phone rang within 15 minutes and it was Eric. We discussed our options and came to a friendly agreement. He was going to have my items shipped over to me on a pallet. I told him that I would check my schedule and see if I can take a trip over there to make a purchase in person. He politely asked for a small deposit twards the purchase. I told him that I would be glad to do so. I ran to the bank and checked my accound and made another deposit. I called back and Adrian took my deposit.
The next day(thursday) Eric called me and gave me the info needed to make a trip down there. I was so excited, I felt like a kid getting his first bike!! Later that day I missed a call from Eric. So I then returned his call. He said "Mike, we have some bad news. The deal was misquoted and we cant do it". I felt as if someone pulled the rug from under me and I furious. Eric tole me "Mike, Im very sorry for this and I completely understand your fustration". I began to get more upet! I explaned to him, the last yeah and a half of my life has been complete HELL!! I went throught a very horrific accident, Lost $150K, my neice was murdered, my brother and mother was in a horrible accident, and I lost my job after 13 years. This isnt helping my emotions. Eric was speechless for about a minute(it felt like an hour). He then said "Mike, let me call Bob and try to work this out. I will call you back in 15 minutes". I paced the living room patiently waiting for his call. I looked at the clock and it was 5:30pm(6:30 az time). I thought to myself " Its past 5 and they are already closed, they are going to leave and forget about me" Boy, I was wrong!!!!!! Eric called me back and said "We got you covered! Bob figured everything out and your all boxed up and ready to go". I was in complete shock! I was speechless and my heart skipped a beat. I told him Thank you very much. So we then made arraggements so that I could pick the item up Friday.

Friday rolled around and I did an oil change, checked everything and gassed up my Escalade. I was on my way to beautiful California. Eric called me about 4 times during my drive over there to check on me. He made me feel like I was the only customer he had that day. I hit rush hour traffic (which felt like a rush WEEK). I was starting to get worried. My thoughts started running wild. I was asking myself "What if they close up and leave? What if they say its friday and we aint waiting for this yoyo? What if someone offers more cash for my item and they sell it?" I was very worried then my phone rang again. It was Eric and he asked "Mike, how are you doing bud? Where are you located?" I told him where I was and he replied with a smile "Beautiful, your only 15 minutes away". I felt a big sigh of relief. I asked him if he would stay and he replied "Mike, we will wait half the night for you". Thats when i knew that I was dealing with a top notch, class act, customers always first type of company!!!!!!!!!

In the end, I got my items, made it to cali and back in 12hrs. I got to meet a very nice guy and got to go behind the doors of a very well established, high standard, customer loyal, greatful, total package company! FOR THOSE OF YOU THAT HAVE NEVER DONE BUSINESS WITH TEAGUE CUSTOM MARINE, PLEASE DO SO! THEY HAVE THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE THAT I HAVE WITHNESSED IN THE 12 YEARS THAT I HAVE BEEN IN THE BOATING INDUSTRY!!!!!! HANDS DOWN THEY ARE TOP NOTCH!!!!

THANK YOU TEAGUE FOR MAKING MY BUSINESS WITH YOU VERY EFFICIENT! YOU HAVE A CUSTOMER FOR LIFE!!!!

This is truly CLASS ACT!!!!! These guys treated me like I was one of thier $200K customers! When I arrived yesterday 5mins before they closed, Eric welcomed me and showed me around. These guys really know how to please a customer. I have never been treated like this from a group of people that I have never met before. Now I see why they are a strong company and do the business they do.

That's awsome, I do however ask myself, I wonder how the service would have been if the economy was not in the toilet....

I tried to do some buisness with a local yokal around here and he acted like he was the only game in town...Told him to stuff it...

Nice to see someone gets it....Soooo, what'd you buy????

Yeah, your thread title got my interest. Didn't think you would have had a bad experience there.
That's awesome. Thanks for sharing so that other boaters are aware that they will do their best to take care of them.

I like reading things like this.. Bottom line for me, I love good customer service, it just seems so rare these days. It's amazing how a returned call can make such a big difference, most companys don't realize this, it's everything to me. I hope things pick up in your personal life, Summer's almost here, let's have a good one...

The business that I have done with them has all been positive. They sure know their boats and motor stuff around there. Bob dialed in my last boat for on the lake after his crew installed a chiller on my blower motor. It was dialed in perfect and the quality of the work was top notch. Just wish the shop was closer to the house.

Talking Eric at Teague SUPER CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

I know I am pulling up a old thread, but yesterday I spent over an hour on the phone with eric to get my bought used quad rotor on my warmed over 500 efi. This guy and company are bending over backwards to get me dialed in with parts and knowledge . I will start a new thread with pics during these next few months to show progress, but wanted to give props to super customer service that is very hard to find these days. I have a lot of busness associates and friends, and for your hot rod boating needs, this is the first place to call.

    Thanks teague!
