Everything is pretty custom these days. Very few boats being built speculatively. Everything is made to order. Unless you are buying a bayliner of course where I don't think you get much choice...

Greg @ GS marine has the 19' Daytona molds and the 19' TPR molds (The boat in my avatar is a GS Daytona we built back in 2008)

Andy @ Ballztech has the 19' Cheyenne molds

Jett Performance has another version of the 19' Cheyenne molds

Harold Bruce has a 8" wider version of the 19' Daytona molds

Eliminator boats has another version of the 19' Daytona molds

I'm sure there are others around. Those are the ones I know of in southern california

Is Harold's mold the same one used to make Tiki's Daytona?

Has anybody built one of those dual jet "Daytona's" from Harold? Any pics or info on these? Obviously twice the cost in the pump area, but for a lake hot rod, would there be an advantage?

Daytona

This one appears to have a Cobra Boats HIN prefix. I like the original schemes but was thinking of updating the graphics - looking for ideas....

i wouldn't think so, but like grady said - with the right combo it would be a rocket. give HB a call. 714-993-2664. he can answer any dual drive questions you have. the added gear box would have pushed my motor too far forward so i went the comfort route. after all, my wife thought i was bringing home a white , blue and pink 21'. lol......... (kjell's rvr. boat).

Is there any advantage on having the duel jets?
Hot Boat - May 2007, had a good article on dual jets. It featured Harold and some of the boats that were converted to dual jets.
It talked about how they accelerated alot harder and cruised at lower RPM's. It didn't help top speed at all.

Don't worry about graphics on a Daytona no matter which molds they come out of. As stated most boats now are all special order and if you have specific Ideas you can have it sprayed however you want. If you don't think of yourself as the artistic type and want to see some layouts work it out with Greg or Harold. I'm available for graphic design if you need it, they can call me or you can PM me. Most gel coat artists like to do it themselves, just give them colors. But if you want something special hire a specialist.

The 19 Daytona is running a 280 ss Merc motor

We don't know yet if we will run it next year at Parker 300

It might be fun to put a 2 liter on it and run with the COR boys

I might go jet :))THumbsUpor driving partner Tony Scarlota knows Greg at GS well and Greg knows the Daytona's needs , do you know if it would be allowed in comp jet ?

If we stay O/B the offshore racing Optimax Merc 245 short shaft would be real nice combo 5 MPG @ 100 MPH
