My dad and uncle have owned this boat since fall of 1975. They are the third owners of the boat and it is still in their possession today. My dad raced it for years until he had my brother and I. The 006 is under the 703 number, you can still see it but not in the pictures. The "hot damn" is still visible in the right light. My dad wanted me to post these pictures on here so here it goes.

You have a piece of drag boat history there.
If you haven't seen the linked thread on the 007 Panic Mouse, may like to take the time to read the whole thing.
Your dad may enjoy seeing it.

Thank you for the link! Ill be sure to send it to him. I'm pretty sure I have heard him talk about that boat before. Lots of years of racing stories from him. I'm glad it's running again and I can have a chance to get behind the wheel. I hope I posted this in the right section for people to see it that would be interested.

Thank you! I debated on whether to put it in here or in there. I figured a mod would put it where it belongs. Thanks
WAAAAAAAY earlier bp. As in when Mike Brendel, the owner Irv Brendel's son that drove the original HDH, which this may be the original number uno HDH when it ran UBGF.

This is a much later boat as well as noted by the T deck. Driven by Sonny Jones.

Here is what HDH looks like today. Garage door spring broke and hit the deck but here it is!

That's a NICE boat, and yet another 006 HDH than the one BP linked.

It looks like there are more surviving 006 HDHs than the there are Panic Mouses. Of the seven Ray built, only one survived.

My dad RW Smith used to own Hot Damn Hondo. Who did you purchase it from?
