We've all witnessed our resident libs exclaiming how things are great and getting better these days but it's important, every now and then, to actually look at the facts. Here are six clear and indisputable economic indicators that we are headed into the toilet these days:

#1 For 192 straight months, the number of American workers collecting federal disability payments has increased. (8,830,026 as of January) In January of 1997, the last time that figure decreased, there were 24 Americans working full-time for each person collecting disability. Today, there are only 13 Americans working full-time for each person collecting disability.

#2 If converted into cash payments, total welfare spending in the US equals approximately $168 per day for every household in poverty. That’s higher than the $137 median income per day.

#3 “If you like your health care plan, you can keep your health care plan.” – President Barack Obama on Tuesday, August 11th, 2009. The CBO also estimates that President Obama’s health care law will push 7 million people out of their job-based insurance coverage. That’s more than twice the previous estimate and it confirms another lie.

#4 Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP – or food stamps) participation increased 74.9% from October of 2007 to October 2012.
October 2007 – 27,177,788
October 2012 – 47,525,329
That’s over 20 million people added.

#5 January of 2013 saw an addition of 157,000 jobs, but the labor force participation rate remained at 63.6%. Prior to Obama taking office, the last time the labor force participation rate was that low was in December of 1981.

#6 The CBO projects that the 10-year cumulative deficit is forecast at $6.958 trillion.

Those aren't facts, Doc. I just don't see them. it can't be true. your lying. its not on the main stream socialist media agenda, so I don't beleive you. Another non-report is how gas is climbing and climbing, but no word from the socialist media.

You're right. Mitt fixed it in every single post or organization in which he has had the opportunity to serve.

That right there is the real problem, the media is in control of the country. If the media reported real facts, and all the facts obama would be living in kenya right now.

No worries...Willard 'll fix it...:D

You know Shue, you can joke about it and make excuses here and there never with any factual rebuttal of course which is standard libby protocol but the real victims of this mess who will inherit all the problems that will follow for decades to come are your children and grandchildren. They are the ones who will paying the worst price for the socialist regimes attack on our fundamental rights and values. Perhaps you will live long enough to see their struggles as the decades pass and the devastation caused by O and the socialist regime are felt by everyone living in that time period.

Wonder what shue and the others will say when their grandchildren set in their lap and ask grandpa to tell them about what it was like to be FREE!
Probably go something like this;
To little Rodney:
Back in the day, when your daddy was little, Your grandma, dad and me used to have to walk through 2 miles of snow to get our food stamps, wait in line for hours to get our welfare check and cell phones. You actually had to commit a crime to go to jail and get 3 meals and free 24 hour TV. Times were tough. You kids have it easy. Now you get an automatic monthly deposit to your Entitlement account and free food delivered to your doorstep.................

1. Yes. As soon as unemployment runs out, peeps apply for disability.

2. Interesting stats. Welfare is spending is up to $1 trillion. With 40,000,000 peeps considered to be in "poverty" - that is $25k per person spent. And the food stamps, etc. are NOT counted as income when calculating poverty.
Btw, median income has been trending downward for 10 yrs.
