'66 Sanger Wood Deck
1966 Sanger, 17'10". Mahogany deck, Hallcraft box, tandem axle trailer. No motor, it did have a 394 Olds in it, no rail kit so not really set up for a specific power plant. I am the 3rd owner, the boat is pretty clean for being un-touched, I think it would be a simple restore if you know how to strip and re-finish the glass on the deck.
The wood in the transom is soft, and there is delam of the glass on the drivers side stringer but the stringer itself looks and sounds solid. Stringers are 1x6.
The boat is fairly light in weight for what it is. Was told it is a Sanger Dragster and 2 were built in '66. Maybe Harlin knows more about that.
Looking to go the family boat route right now, found one that I want so I thought I would put this up. Have a fresh BBC and almost everything (missing rear motor plate and bellhousing, and intake) to put it in here also if interested.
