we went out saturday and tested the twin turbo tx20, started out at 23lbs of boost and it was turnin 7800 with 60psi of intake:)devil pump is tight tight, new ss amt aa-cut impellor in it, aggressor 9 vane bowl. at 15lbs of boost, its turnin 7500. so it looks like a aaa-cut or uncut hihelix is needed. you guys should feel how this thing leaves and pulls, its just sickkkkk:)grn:)grn just on 15lbs of boost, it pullls super hard:)devil

anybody have a chart to show 7800rpm on a amt aa cut? wonder were hp is at.

also need a oil cooler if anyone has 1, oil temp gets high after each pass.

Time for a full race prepped impeller, off the shelf stuff ain't gonna cut it for you.
its not cavitating at all, the boat has a ervin capps keel and stays loaded all the time, its just turnin the pump that hard:)grn we wanna be able to turn the motor up to 28-30lbs of boost and use the pump to hold it to 7500 at wot. its gotta a dps inducer in frt of the aa right now, so we can lose that and go to a huge impellor cut, just can't go to a big diameter impellor like we prob need too.

pm'd ya back. he's gonna have to sell his pump to get rid of the jetaway, its gonna snap the shaft again if he don't. gonna sell the pump as a unit(dominator suction housing with new ss amt aa impellor/bronze ring/dps jetaway/dps inducer/fresh seals/fresh lube in the jetaway/shaft ) then go to the biggest damn impellor he can get for it, turn the boost up and let r eat:)grn
he can't run a jetaway of any kind because where the shaft has to be cut for the pilot bearing, it'll snap the shaft at that weak spot. don't matter what kinda shaft he uses, with this much hp and a huge impellor, all it takes is 1 unload over 100mph and reloading hard will snap the shaft of driveshaft in the boat.

You would be surprised at what a good detail job to an impellor will do. It will pull some rpm out and launch even harder.

awsome ! i just got some 72mm (not arrived yet)can't wait to see some results. do they spool instantly? is there a little lag? what a/r ratio you running?do you know the turbine size ?or any other specs? what is your estimated hp?

nooooo lag;) 1.32 ar, forgot turbine size i know the wheel is 75mm. 2000+hp?? not sure, let's just say its just got stupid hp/tq:D

dps did not make a Jetaway, He made a rachet'

he can't run a jetaway of any kind because where the shaft has to be cut for the pilot bearing, it'll snap the shaft at that weak spot.
Only the DPS rachet requires for the shaft to be cut and drilled for a pilot hole. And yes, it weakens the shaft. The Jetaway has a splined collar that slips over the shaft and increases the shock load capabalities of the shaft by 28%. This eliminates the twisted off shafts. Give me a call, I'll explain. 417-858-8616.

I also have a bowl available, that will let you run a 9 1/2" Hi-Helix if you want to.

so as your'e plaining out or poping up ontop of the water you have full boost?????:D??? wow . i think my turbos are too small:mad: i told them i wanted instant boost & they put me in the 72 mm & estimated @1350hp...if i get the motor enough fuel . how r u getting fuel ? mech injection? i am worried my cam ain't gonna cut it either . if your cam is not a secret i would like to know what u r runnin .

blow thru carb, aeromotive belt drive fuel pump, 13202 aeromotive regulator with bypass

that steel crank pulley blew to shitttt and sent shrapnel into the back of my calf saturday:mad: hurtttttt! we were wayy over 110 and all of a sudden i felt like i got shot:|err:)sphss

looks badass, you got a pic of the rear? is it innercooled?what brand carb?size 1250?
twin air to water ic's, there's more pics of it in forced induction , page 2 of my carb tuning thread;) intake air temp makes the intake frost over, sturday was 100+ here and it still had frost forming on the intake during a pass:D
