Anybody have any info on these little boats? I just bought a 9'4" Adventure SE 9Special Edition)with a 40 HP modified Nissan on it. What speeds and pitch are reasonable? Anyone make a HP prop for these little things(Nissan)? I thought it would be cool for cruisin the channel! I think my props started out at either 17" or 19" and they are aluminum. I am looking for mebbie a 17 or 19 in stainless. I'm also gonna lean on the motor some too. No speedo, but the owner's wife said it runs abou 40. The rpm/pitch would make that reasonable. She also said that they bought it new from the manufacturer in Havasu. This boat looks just like the addictor 9' model. I'm gonna run it this weekend and see what I have got. Thanks for any info I get! TIMINATOR

I don't know much about them but I did see one on the river at Blythe last weekend. It had a 50 merc on it, I think. I was too busy dodging some blonde biotch on a jet ski to see him real good.
In All The Years...

When Western Engine ( Then the SoCal Volvo Distributor) became the Tohatsu distributor, we started racing these Addictors...The 30 HP would run 42 and the 40 HP ran a lot worse...(Nissan is a Tohatsu). The extra weight of the 40 hurt the speed more than the horse power helped...We made lots of props...Stainless really only helped when we started using tunnels boats...

40 MPH isn't bad..If you made a set back, raised the motor a ton and went o a Performance prop...(Powertech , Mercury Marine and Hill Marine) all make them...But the aluminum isn't that bad...on the stock set up.

The aluminum could be thinned a little and cupped..

I have a little Mercury stainless wheel that is vented and cupped, I'm in Santa Ana...You can borrow it if you'd like...
