Make sure the drum is sealed. Don't leave it cracked open, the cap off, etc. It stays a good long time that way. But if you leave it open, you are really shooting yourself. It does not last long at all.

Drum sealed tight and on blocks of wood. Don't leave the drum sitting on the ground as it will draw in moisture....

Thanks !!!! I do have it sealed and on a furniture dolly, its about 5 or 6 inches off the ground!!!! I also thought if you pour some on the clean concrete and light it on fire, there should be no moisture or stain ,then it is still good,.....this true???
