So if any of you have realized there has been a uprise in So Cal violence, thanks AB109. Although all the California tree huggers will deny this, and claim all the parolees are low offenders, it's BS. I have close friends that work parole, who are all getting laid off because of 109, and its unbelievable whats going on. Ankle monitors are being taking away from high risk sex offenders (I believe one just kidnapped and raped a 9 year old and was just caught in Mexico). A spike in LA carjacking has rose, and get this, carjackings in Northern Ca (where these animals are getting released from) has risen 1000 percent. I guess we can thank Governor Brown for this, and now they want to take away our guns and our ability to protect ourselves in our homes. Well this is something to just keep in mind, be careful out there..!!!

i live in the high desert. we had a great little secure community. now thanks to this bill they are bringing criminals up here by the bus load. Our little town can not handle the rif raf. there is not enough low end jobs in town to support the influx on non employables anyway. so they continue what they know best, crime and drugs. So no i see hood rats every day on the way home from work instead of seeing kids playing on the street. I dont like this trend and i wish there was something we could do about it. I have cop friends in town as well and they said it is getting bad as well. they are having a hard time keep shit under control.

Just yesterday there was a carjacking here up North in Brentwood. They were getting chased, drove into the parking lot of the hospital where my girlfriend works and ran into the hospital trying to evade police. The idiots got caught, but just shows we're seeing the effects firsthand in Nor Cal as well. Unfortunately, where I live (Contra Costa County) it is about impossible to get a CCW.

It has become a damn shame for the legally correct people to not be allowed to carry protection and the criminals to do so then be back on the streets within hours after being caught! I have given up on the laws and the LEO that allow this, but as I have stuff that will be taken away in the "court of Law" it has become a no win situation for the law abiding minority at this point I could vent about this for days but I might as well go jack-off with a wire brush. The outcome will be the same!

It is only going to get worse. Fed judge is going to hold Jerry Brown in contempt now for over crowding in the prisons so the doors will be left wide open now with 10's of thousands of thugs getting out month after month. Heaven forbid if it get s little crowded in prison. I think there is lots of isolated desert space available on BLM land and tax dollars should build a few more prisons. This would create thousands of new jobs also and keep public safety at the forefront rather then letting them serve a fraction of their prison time. Keep in mind also, they are deceiving you when they say "non violent" offenders only are being released. I know first hand that is not accurate.

They should just give everyone in prison free drugs and let them rape, mame, and kill each other. The four food groups required to keep them in place even when the doors are wide open for them to leave. Why does a dog go looking for food? Because he is hungry. If he has food, he doesn't go looking for any.
Pussy, on the other hand, is another issue.

This sounds like a repeat of what CA did about 20 years ago under Diane Feinstein. They moved convicted criminals out of big cities and put them into unassuming, under policed towns and guess what happened? Crime spiked and the towns didn't have the infrastructure to handle it. Folks were prisinors in their own homes in some areas.

Hey here's a thought. If the prisons are over crowded start putting the worst offenders down until the population gets under control. Gee maybe the dirt bags will think twice if they realize their actions may result in their demise.

And once again before that. Anybody in Calif remember Rose Bird. She was so bad about releasing prisoners, shorteneing their sentences, and over turning convictions and amking legal dis\cisions based on her personal beliefs, not Cailf constitional law, that he was finally removed from office. ONLY Calif Supreme Court justice to ever be removed from office by the voters 67% to 33%. AND WHO APPOINTED HER???? You guessed it, JERRY BROWN!

Welcome to Shasta County. They have been bussing parolees here for years.
Now with an overloaded court system and ZERO jail space it is not uncommon for people arrested for burglary, car theft, etc. to be released on own recog the SAME
DAY.
An article in the Redding Searchlight a
while back told of a car thief being arrested and released TWICE in 24 hours.
Its crazy.
We are rural, 4 acres. All our neighbors are owners and we have a patrol and watch system 24/7.
Most have ADT or similar plus surveillance cameras.

Its unsustainable, and is going to lead to drastic actions from home owners.
Home invasions and daylight forced entries are becoming common.

I have a close friend who is a PO and his entire case load is sex offenders on GPS monitoring. They have guys violating parole daily and they can't do anything about it. We are talking about pervs hanging out in front of schools and at parks and PO's hands are tied. They are extremely frustrated! This is plain WRONG!
