Just finnishing up a new 900hp blower motor / Imco SCX upper/ SC shortie lower upgrade to my 2001 25 Daytona.

It ran 83 with a 500efi / 1.50 Bravo and a 28 B1 prop. 91 with a warmed up ( 570hp) efi and a Black Hawk 1.50 spinning 31's.

Now, blown / injected 509 : 902 hp at 6000, 1.34 drive 1" shortie.

Any guesses at correct prop pitch and top speed numbers?

Although a very common boat out west, there are very few and none with this power up here in Toronto to compare to and this looked like the best place to ask.

Just in case you missed my guess in the cat section.

I have a buddy with a 800 Phaff-Whipple 800 efi. The boat runs 115 with a labbed 32 bravo 1 and 1.50 gears. It has a 2" shorty. I think 125 with a labbed 32 and your gears. Thats my guess.

Assuming you're shooting for a 6,000 rpm WOT redline -- 121-122mph with a 32 pitch, 114-115mph with a 30 pitch. Good luck!

I have a lab 30 for sale off of a 25 Daytona with your same set up. It ran really good with it. Boat would spin a 30 or 32 depending on the heat.

If it will pull a 32 to 6 grand, I hope 115 is wrong or I have a serious slip problem. That would be around 18%

I did't say it would pull 6K, It may need a 30 to pull 6K.
