One of the guys from work here is taking the Dynojet Honda CBR600RR to claim the first 600 over 200mph. He would have done it last year, but the bike was stolen the day before they were scheduled to leave. Dusty and Chris will be leaving Friday to head up. They currently have the record at 191.989 but plan to exceed the 200 mark this year.

Nope, a trip with Billy's Streamliner (machinist) pushed out another year once again. Two outings ago at El Mirage, the trans didn't shift and the car was piloted to 198 mph while still in 1st gear....blacked the crank, wasted the block's mains, etc. Engine all back together, the last time out still working out trans matters.
Little time, less money, minimal prep for a Bonneville attempt this year.

Two outings ago at El Mirage, the trans didn't shift and the car was piloted to 198 mph while still in 1st gear....blacked the crank, wasted the block's mains, etc. Engine all back together, the last time out still working out trans matters.
