orange26daytona, do you ever get to Watts Bar ?
:D
I haven't been there, but I've heard it's nice though.

I have spent most of my time on Dale Hollow. We didn't travel with the Baja that much, we may explore more with the Eliminator this year. It takes me a while to be able to relax and enjoy new lakes. All of them have their own personality, types of boaters and hidden trouble spots!

My grandparents retired on Cumberland in '72. I spent the summers there from '78 to '00. There place was on top of the hill over Aligator II. Worked from '91 to '95 at Bob's Marine during the summer. Many good memories on that lake.

I grew up living to go to the lake. lots of weekends and vacations on the small lakes of central and northern Indiana. Around the mid 80's I was exposed to Dale Hollow and was ruined forever! It was deep and clean, not to mention the smooth water. What a great thing the TVA has created with these lakes!

We have not been to Dale Hollow in several years but it is one of the....... if not the best lakes I have ever been on. Two or three times a year there would be several boats of different types from v-drives to outboards get together and have their own races. Is the water still clear ..........we could see the bottom go by as we were riding down the river.

there is a lot more traffic these days like everywhere elese, but for the most part both Dale hollow and lake Cumberland at times can be very clear depending on rain, current water level, and traffic. It's my favorite lake

PM me if y'all come down to Chickamauga or Nickajack.
Not been there yet, how's the boating there? Are the river areas safe for a newbee to the area? Looks like plenty of room in the lakes regardless. 'Nooga is a cool place, just never boated there.

Give me a shout if you head up "north" as well.

I want to try to hit Dale Holow this year.... you gonna be our tour guild????
I see you go to Center Hill, it's on our list of must visit lakes this year along with a Poker Run or two. Heard there is a waterfall there, how does it compare to 76 falls at L. Cumberland? Maybe we can meet up there as well.
