I called Place Diverter yesterday to ask about one of their products. As our conversation progressed we started talking about droop snoots. The guy I spoke to (his name escapes me at the moment) told me that their droop snoot is longer and has more downward angle than my American Turbine droop. He said that the PD droop would help get my boat outta the water a little more. Is this true or is he just being a good salesman by feeding me a line and trying to get me to buy his product?

Every boat is different

You might benefit from a droop, or a HTP snoot

I had great luck with a snoot, while other boats may need a droop....

Call Duane at HTP he can point you in the right direction, he never sold me anything that did not improve my jet boat:thumb:

I checked out their "snoot" and I'd have to say that I've never seen anything like that. Interesting how they mention that a "droop" can cause drag.

Remind me... what we are working on here...hull wise? I believe droops have different pin angles...and there are mini droops ect. The lower the thrust line...theoretically the more of the bow it can raise...until there isnt enough hp and the boat noses over because of it. I am sure someone else can explain it better. I wanna try Tom's new mini droop. How wet/dry does it currently run...any pics?
