My GF's Honda Accord A/C just crapped out and it's 100 degrees! Anybody know of a good, trustworthy repair place in Temecula area (or Escondido)?

a lot of times you can just put in some freon its not that
hard and you can buy the stuff at any parts store

Fan motor won't blow. Checked fuses and they are all okay. A/C comprssor seams to kick on. Fan motor won't blow in non-A/C mode either.

Go see Liegh at Automotive Specialties on Diaz (Blackdeer loop and Diaz area over by the DMV) and tell him the boys at PDS Fabrication sent you. He seems to be the best in the area since Grahm sold Temecula Radiator/Auto Repair.

Sounds like the blower motor resistor, our shop in Fontana just replaced 2 in the last month part is about 75 bucks from the dealer resister is located under dash on passanger side 2 screws hold it in mounted on blower motor housing. Just follow wire harness off of blower motor it runs to the resistor.

I'll check that out. Is there a way to test it? I can put a meter on it but what should resistance be? I suppose if there is no continuity at all it's bad?
