Went to the Avi boat bash. It was the third time putting the boat in the water. Been having trouble with the (OLD) Aggressor parts. First time out I broke the droop snoot off the the boat. Second time out I broke the clean out cover off. So the third time out was at the Avi bash. The boat ran strong running on the river best GPS was 110 felt like it got there pretty fast ran. So after running hard a couple of times I needed to put some gas in so I could race around some more to my surprise everything was holding up it seemed to look good. Until I looked at the pump on the inside of the boat there was water in bilge. And to my SURPRISE I broke the pump again. F...k a duck. The packing flange area broke and my pump housing is spider cracked glad I check. As well I Twisted my shaft and almost broke off my jetaway. I just filled up and was ready to race some people. Thank GOD I checked things out like you should when you run hard. I could of found me and my boat at the bottom of the river. So my Saturday was cut short. Met a lot of nice people and saw a lot of nice boats .:no: Going Back to my 21 Daytona.

I know next to nothing about jets, but they look to be just as expensive to hot rod as a v-drive. Crazy that that pump is giving you so much grief. Hope you get it all figured out.

pump brace

All set up to race pump brace etc. Just old aggressor parts I guess:notsure::notsure:. Never had these problems in my 21 Daytona same motor. Bought the 19 daytona the way it sits did not rig it. The 19 runs awesome for the little time I have been in it. GREAT BOAT

Is it possible your impeller is out of balance, or you are cavitating pump. Just seems odd to break all these parts without something being out of whack. Not saying the parts aren't prone to fail but damn that's a lot of carnage.

Nice boat and good luck getting her back up and in the water! That thing runs hard as hell!! Thanks again for helping me on at the launch ramp on Friday

x2 you could be unloading the pump.

I have an agressor suction housing like yours. been running it for 4 years havent had one problem with it.

My aggressor suction cracked in the same spot beginning of last summer. I saw your thread on the droop which is the same one I have that i need to change now. I have put a pump brace on the front of the suction and across the top just past the grease zert since then. Should help out a lot.

When I got the boat 19 daytona I don't now what horse power was in it but the mouth opening was 14 3/8 which is very large. Which makes me believe that they were not running the horse power. I have 1050 to 1100 hp. And I can not close it up do to the shoe set up. In my 21 Daytona the opening is 13 1/4. On the 19 Daytona iam just getting TWO MUCH water pressure with that opening so large. If iam going to keep it I will change the intake if not just sell it.

What shaft are you running. If it bent bad enough I could see the wobble causing the suction to crack like that pretty easy.

The only bad thing about AVI is the water conditions and PWCs. Oh and throw in an occasional Wakeboard Bastard. Otherwise a bitchin beach and casino

we actually had good water but most let the big dogs run like master sargent and boost boat :))THumbsUp was surprisingly a mellow fun hanng out run what you brung trip :))THumbsUp
