Looking to spend a week on the Delta next year, we have stayed at Turner Cut Resort before but the Launch ramp was friggin crazy and I didn't like being in a bowl, had a great time and the place was nice but... We are looking to tent camp or rent a cottage or bungalow so we can be close to the water. We will have a couple Flats and a Day Cruiser with us.

Places we are looking into:

B&W Resort
Windmill Cove
Sugar Barge
Snug Harbor

Any insights would be appreciated

I've yet to find a ramp on the delta that isn't a zoo. Lol.

That being said, we like Lighthouse resort on the Mokelumne river. The campground is almost totally tree covered, they have cabins, a pool and a kid's playground. There is a bar/restaurant next to the launch ramp. The down side is their dock really sucks, especially for low profile boats. And the ramp is a zoo...

Ya might want to give Wind Mill Cove a try. Great sheltered harbor, ramp, camping, rental cabins, close to downtown Stockton for dining out, etc. great views of the San Joaquin, and of course access to the rest of Delta. Ya can look at the facilities by googling them online. You can leave your boat in the water overnight so ya don't have to hassle the ramp every day also.

Stayed at Snug harbor a out 6 years ago. Small which was great. The camp ground was almost empty. There
was a ramp, kinda steep, didn't see a boat put in there all weekend. It's one lane and between two camp sites, that's probably why?

be safe, schick
