How do you guys clean steel aircleaners short of submerging them in a bucket of solvent?

Take it off...

Put it in a three gallon pail and submerge it in Laquer thinner. Let it set, shake it around and then remove to blow dry, from the inside out.

I used a can of brake clean and it worked great. I doubt the silicone sealer used on the upper and lower seams will tolerate that many times.
