Anyone that has Frontier and or Dish Network service in Havasu, keep an eye on your bill. As of January alot of added on charges and sudden price increases. I hate these companys! It seems like I am always calling them about something. st

Perhaps your initial special price contract expired and now they put you to Standard prices??? I've forgotten stuff like that then raise holy hell just to find out I was the stupid onesphss

No it wasn't that. I keep an eye on that as well. The local phone service went from $9.40 per mo. to $25.99 and they called it "Digital Phone Essentials Term", Touch Calling service (which the Frontier person couldn't even tell me what that is), Hi speed internet security software, Modem Rental (we have our own), and the internet servive went from $19.95 @ mo to $39.99 @ mo.

Dish Network was supposed to be $19.95 @ mo for the first 6 mo, then the next 6 mo is was to go up to $29.95 @ mo and for the second yr of the 2 yr contract was supposed to be $39.95 @ mo. Last bill was $59.99 for Feb.

I called both companys and Frontier said "we don't know how that happened and they would change everything back and credit next months bill accordingly and then told me that they don't have any control over what Dish does so they sent me over to them. Same thing, they don't know how those changes happened and they would change it back. So for the people that don't look to close at their bill, would just let it go and pay it.

Some sort of auto trigger was tripped at the wrong time....At least you know what is in store for you in the future.

I got Dish too, and they are the biggest scam ever seen. You have to keep an eye on the bill by credit card billing. It will go up per the contract, and mine began like yours.

Then they suddenly liked $99 on month, called them at about 16 months into my contract and thy said that was because of Cinemax. Told them I never ordered it, they said they added it plus an increase in programming fees! Tried to tell me MY contract permited any increase in "programing" fees", as in unlimited. Asked for a copy of my contract, they could not produce it. I said BS, and credit me, they refused.

SO AMEX did an investigation and chagred them back. Then in December they tried nailed me for $129. I called, they refused to dial it back to about $58 a month with the service plan, refused again. AMEX investigated, and charged them back.

last two months were ok on billing. They are a complete scam, just check every month to keep them honest.

i ended up dumping my dish service all together and went to Netflix (wii) and HULU premium. I also use projectfree.tv Im sick of paying a bunch of money for shows that i will never watch.

I have Dish also, mine went from $71.70 to $77.00 for the payment due this month, I just got off of the phone with Dish Network and they said that thier provider went up $5.00 per month so I got into it with them about the contract thing and they said it was there right to pass on charges to the customer,:cowdodo::cowdodo:. At that point I told them it was my right to cancel my service when the contract expires in June And that I will be canceling at that time.
