sounds lean or more than likely a fuel delivery (VOLUME not pressure) problem. Did it bang back before it cut off? Classic runnin' out of fuel! Jocko

Ok , I think I found the problem . I have 8 an going into the fuel pump 8 an comming out and going to 1 holley fuel pressure regulator , I saw where it said with this style you need one for each carb , my plumbing does not allow 2 , so what is the best flowing regulator out there ? thanks

Stop what you doing and get the fuel system up to par. Hands down the biggest mistake made when throwing on a blower, and the most misunderstood system due to BS and wives tales
Like Jocko posted, its about volume. Unless your running EFI and boost, you can stick pressure in your ear. I take a properly sized fuel system, than pressure any day.

This is the best flowing 4 port reg. for the $ on the market. And more importantly, you can rebuild it with easily available parts.
You need to really, REALLY REALLY consider larger lines to the pump, and if possible, to the reg.

Here is what I consider the minimum for a desent blown BBC, specially if you are even slightly considering an increase in power EVER. Because if your don't do it now, you won't do it later. Might as well put in enough now.

-10 from the tank to the pump,
-8 from the pump to the reg
-6 to each float bowl
One damn good flow filter
One PROVEN PUMP! All this is worthless info if your running a 10.00 dollar electric pump.
This is the minimum.

How much will this cost? How much is you motor worth.
You have no idea how many people lose motors because they underestimate the fuel requirements, or are too cheap to install the proper stuff to supply enough fuel, and try to get by with what worked before the blower. Welcome to the world of blowers and HP.
HP takes fuel! If they didn't, we would all be driving blown BBC to work everyday.
Not saying you don't need to fix the fuel sysetm but:
I have never seen a motor turn the headers blue from one end to the other from being lean. Never. Too retarded, or too rich, or both, yep, but never too lean. That usually means higher cylinder temps, and even exhaust temps. But not clear to the collector. Were did all the heat at the end of the header come from without fuel to burn?
