Do you think $17-18K would be a can't say no real good deal for this?

Bmw 2004 330ci---immaculate---
18k miles, 6 speed manual, fully loaded, black with leather interior, always garaged and covered, sunroof/moon roof (whatever it is called). Beautiful car with only one little ding and a couple of small chips in the front of the hood. If you like these cars and in partcular this model it is a must see. You won't find one any cleaner. No pics at this time but I can get you some. Located in Bullhead City.....

22K is the KBB for a dealer sale but this car is as clean as a whislte

I am thinking of buying it myself and just want to see what you guys think. I have never had a BMW before and it would make a pretty nice 2nd car for me.

Thanks

The E46 330i is a great car. You get the big engine so plenty of suds. Seems like a decent deal but I'm more of an old skool ///M car guy so I'm not up on current pricing of the late model cars. You can bet it was a 45K car when new though. It may still be under warranty too.

Get a pre-purchase inspection! Great cars, but the little stuff adds up quick. I've never seen a Bimmer go on a lift that didn't need at least $1000 worth of odds and ends, and thats just the little stuff.

Great handling cars in the twisties, especially with the sport package. The Bimmer sixes are legendary. Silky smooth, sweet engines and get good gas mileage on the highway. Compared to other sedans with the same HP, they always seem to get a couple of more MPG and are a few ticks faster.

Not a muscle car of course, but a great daily driver.

That is a great car, to be only out classed by the M which I believe that they made that year. Have all of the electronics checked and make sure everything works, parts and service are expensive but that is a 200,000+ mile car.

I've found 04-05 530 in that price range(higher miles of course). with an AUTO tran. 6speed man are not really in demand. If thats whatwhat you want then cool.. there is a lot out there.

Might want to ask Ziggy. I know he sold his BMW franchise a couple of years ago, but he had it a long time. I'd say he's the resident expert still.

It is owned by my brother, he never drives it and is parked at my house in AZ. He has had it up to 120MPH+ over the 40 :)sphss

Thanks Matt. I know $22K is what a dealer would expect to get for it selling at a dealers location. I was surprised to see it at the $16K range though. It would be kind of like when Bobbie/Angie bought my boat. They knew that it was very well cared for. I feel the same way about this one + it is my brother.

No inspections are necessary. It is my brothers car. He also has a Mercedes, Porsches, a Prius and this. He just doesn't drive them much and he bought this one brand new. The car is in perfect condition except for the very small little chips up front. Probably two chips that are very small. The ongoing service is expensive compared to others, yes. Mostly I would use it running back-forth from AZ-CA. Then would be my run around in CA when here.

All is perfectly working. 200K mile car? Really....that sounds good

Ya, it does have that 6 speed but I can deal with it.

I think he will jump in here if he sees this. Thanks Angie

haha....I have driven it a couple of times and I feel very vulnerable....in a non-gay, non-emotional kind of way

Jumping from my lifted truck into the BMW is actually frightening.....

It is harder to get in-out of the BMW -vs- getting in-out of my truck.

Try a 5 or 7 on for size.. they're easy to get into and very hard to get out of them as they're like driving a recliner. ;)

Ahhh.... beat to the punch once again.:p
This was too easy to pass up, and honestly, I was surprised to be the first one to say it. :p:D

Jordy learned a long time ago to throw the first punch :)

I have always liked both the 5 and 7 series but never ponied up for one. Maybe I should buy this thing and get a good trade in on it? Of course now I have to get the damn 3 series for like 13K which isn't going to happen.

$17,500 is about mid-book on a private party sale, so it's not that much of a screaming deal.

Why not just send half the money you're going to spend buying a car to trade in to me as a consulting fee and then take the other half and go buy the bigger Bimmer. ;)

Yes, but I have the car in the garage and finding a car this clean with such low miles just doesn't come along that often. Plus I know how he is with stuff he owns. No worries at all. It basically stays in a garage covered most of the time. He just aid the reg in CA and I would have to reg it in AZ. He also just had all the services done...oil and whatever else BMW rips you for :)

It doesn't make me say "too good to pass up" though.

Notice I didn't respond to the rest????

Yeah, that's the problem right there... With my 7 I was happy to get out of the dealer with a $500 oil change. There were several times that I left 3-4 times that lighter... :(
