So do you think it would make a better river/ lake racer than a hydro? Say with 550 to 700 hp?SOme big corn fed guy used to have one of those. It was a 3-D (Hondo)
Same deal awesome lake boat, got a bit spooky with a blown motor when it would roll over on the keel at the top end.
The guy who owned it knows a hell of a lot about plates.

Kinda does . I think it would pack some air and be fast enough for a lake racer but I also have my eye on a SBC hydro. Same money. I'm confused as to what to do.looks like a jet boat bottom.bulb
You're definately confused....I'm confused as to what to do.
As always depends on what your tastes are, but I will say that your girlfriend will like it better than a hydro. So do you think it would make a better river/ lake racer than a hydro? Say with 550 to 700 hp?Just want something to l;imp around with to about 100 mph or so.

The lil woman has nothing to say about it. We already have a lake boat. I just wanted to know if this boatAs always depends on what your tastes are, but I will say that your girlfriend will like it better than a hydro.
I think a true flat would be better than the gullwing bottom. The lil woman has nothing to say about it. We already have a lake boat. I just wanted to know if this boat
can handle some river racing behind it and be half azzed stable. Not looking for a rocking chair.
Thanks

Typing is easier and cheaper on the wallet.Trust me, That hull is rock solid at 110Mph. We ran one for years. Anything over 115 gets a little wierd. The best part about that hull is you can put it into a turn at 90. This is the typicle "I dont know anything about it, so It cant work" performance boat comments. I'll try to dig up my notes on set-up locations, and give them to you. We also raced this boat at the NJBA races and trophied twice. Our boat had a all iron 454, 10-1 with a roller cam, that ran 10 os at 106-108 all day long, with seating for 4. Some guys should do more racing and less typing.hand

Well 15 that I know of. I'm waiting for test results on the other 3. I'll be on Maury's show next week.....Quick Jet, just because I stab and steer now, does not mean i did not shoe an ace hardware rigged flatty in the past. Dont beat a brother down, just because I choose to toss the garage door springs, and bicycle parts. Besides, my buddy Ray cut me off with the kearney clamps. He said he was going to scrap them for the copper. Dont you have like 15 kids you have to raise? you should consider getting that thing cut.hand
