I was invited to head up to Bullards Reservoir for this coming weekend (Labor Day). I have a Sanger Flat with Bassett headers and NO MUFFLERS. Will I get hassled by the cops and/or marina?? Will they even let me on the water there?? I'd hate to drive three hours from the bay area and not even be allowed on the water.

I called the marina and asked about noise restrictions and they said there are none. I have twin 454's with 4" thru hulls and no one even noticed I was there. If you're camping be prepared for a hike. Water level is dropping there too.

I've been up there a couple times this year and the place seems pretty laid back. Although one day a cop was hanging out at the ramp watching people, but didn't really bother anyone.

I have some friends camping there as well, I'm supposed to come up on Sunday for the day. I'll keep my eyes peeled for loud Sanger. I'll be in the Blue Carrera.

We used to run a fake set in my buddy's boat. Rewarder short headers with about 650hp BBF, 11:1. We just cut a set of baffles down and bolted them in. Couldn't say we didn't have baffles then. haha.

Hey did you make it up on Saturday?

I was there Sunday, water was rough as shit. Friends got in a big fight on my boat and I about threw everyone off. I had a shitty time. lol.

I ended up making the trip up to Bullards Bar.
Had no problems whatsoever.
No launch fees.
No noise problems.

Overtook and passed up a sherrif's patrol boat with no problems.

Lake was a little rough and the water was only about 60% full
I would like to go back when the lake is full (if it ever gets full).

Two thumbs up!!!
