I know this is a boat site, but power is power here in the Dyno forum. If you have a spare 10 minutes, sit back and relax to the sound of revs & horsepower.

Just thought id show you USA chaps a few examples of the Australian burnout scene. The burnout game has really stepped up a few notches down under over the last few years....

This first car is a Aussie 1969 HT Premier Holden... Running a 14/71 blown & methanol injected 540ci Chev screaming what sounds like 8000rpm.

This is pure violence. Torched the rear 1/4 of the car, will need to repaint the boot, and rear quarters.

And some for the Ford boys....
Australian 1967 Ford XR Ute running blown 302 small block Windsor..... Sounds like a pro-stocker....11,700rpm before it called it quits.

Another Ford. Australian Ford XA Ute, running a 14/71 blown & methanol injected Big Block 510ci Ford.

Thats some extreme stuff. I would think the guys in the burnout contest would need some form of breathing mask or respirator.

There are approximately 5 or so different events throughout the year.... You just turn up and smoke tyres.

Here's the link to one. UBC = Ultimate Burnout Challenge. $10,000 first prize.
