I just found this roller on a motor I got in a boat a LONG time ago. This gen 6 502 motor had seen a lot of use. It was running ok when I pulled it apart with NO top end issues. Just goes to show WHO says Chevys have top end problems!! Belive it or not the rocker is in great condition. I think Comp will replace this dont ya think!!:D

Well Jesels Sportman series doesn't seem to have any issues less the oil hole...

It's not acceptable on stud mount rockers like those Comp's you pictured.

Chris thru a curve ball at you talking about a shaft set-up that oils differently.

Ah I see. Thought it would be a different deal. I had a blocked push rod hole once and it killed the roller rocker in short order. This is a weird deal that it ran for many years with no trouble. Even funnier tho that who ever built it did not see it!!! Now thats even weirder to me:D
