On blower engines; one of the fewer places where bigger, is better (within reason of course).

Sounds about right for a roots style with the carbs on top, which would be my guess as to what is being asked. If its a blow through arrangement its a different story.

You are correct, but I like to think that most people don't refer to turbos and centrif's as blowers. But then, maybe its just me

Thanks, its easier and it works out to almost exactly the same. The boost correction in you link works out exactly to the secon half of the equation I posted. Less math though.
