Bet a good Carb guy(Like Patrick from pro systems to name one) could have found the same 20 extra hp over what they had & stayed with a carb, maybe more. But you have to admit, thats pretty impressive that little carb sitting up there and coming that close to that top of the line $$$$ EFI system.

Would the fuel economy be better on the EFI or Carb ?

When I had my N/A 588 Sterlings built in '05, Mike D'Annibel said that carburetors make a little more horsepower than EFI, but the EFI gets a little better fuel economy and idles better. He wanted $10k more per motor for the EFI, so I went with the carbs........I can buy a LOT of gas for $20k!!!
