I know a few guys here tricked out there Duramax trucks and put the Cadillac dash set ups in them. Well since I had my cadi dash installed my check engine light is now on all the time. I had a local shop check it out and they said it was an error having to do with something having to do with a heater or?? Anyone know a fix for this or a shop that has resolved this in the past.

I guess I could pull the bulb but what would that help?? :D

Funny I didn't think newer Diesel trucks had glow plugs. That is probably what it is...

Anyone know?

Glow Plug

My 2003 DuraMax HAS a Glow Plug. My thought is that the Caddy Instrament Cluster lacks the ability to send a signal to the Durmax computer, thus Check Engine Light = Error, Glow Plug.
