I heard from a few folks yesterday that Cindy and Barry are up in Illinios racing, said that Cindy was pitched from her CP tunnel right at the finish line. Everything that I have heard is that she is fine just going to be bruised up and sore, and boat is fine, and that she is jumping back in and going racing today, lets all root for her, it'd be badass if she brings home the top prize! If I heard correctly she made a 9.03 pass when the accident happened, and something, coil maybe??, bit the dust killing power to the engine. I'm sure we'll hear what happened, I'm just glad nothing serious happened to her!

Your information is correct. I spoke with Barry by phone yesterday and he said Cindy was OK. The engine died at the finish line and upon reentry the boat went left and she went right.

Cindy was qualified #2 and returned to racing today and went out in the second round. I'm glad she was OK and could get back on the horse.
