clearlake always has enough water for boating. it gets low sometimes,kinda low now.but you just watch out when your close to shore.gets nice and hot in june. very nice lake to visit.

I have spent alot of time in my youth at Clear Lake. It is a very nice Lake. My family still gets together there every year. Even when the lake was extreemly low it was still a great place. It is not a very deep lake so it does warm up real nice.

The "Largest Natural Lake in California". Still can't believe many boaters around Calif dont know Clear Lake. The Bass Pros sure know about it "Bass Capital of the West". And it dont cost anything to launch your boat at the ramps. If you are looking for a place to stay try Konocti Vista Casino Resort and Marina or for camping The State Park by Kelseyville. Not sure if Willow Point in Lakeport is open yet. Just dont wait til late summer, early fall, aquantic plants get bad near the shore. April through June is the best. July, ok.

Interstate 5 north then turn on Highway 20 west just past Williams. You will end up right by Clear Lake in about 48 miles from interstate 5 . Less than a couple hours to get to Clear Lake.

Yeah. Apr-June is best. And as far as the mussel prevention program, no one has came forward yet if they are going to continue it. Was a hassle last year for the county and state.

I am thinking about a saturday trip with a couple of non boating girls to see how they fair up as my o9 boat crew lol -- lakeport to Richardsons park for burgers and booze errr boobs

It is still low but will be fine , Water around here is flowing very well after this storm - lake is small enough to fill ! Come on down this summer !

We might head over without the flattie this summer. Lake Mendocino Enforcement gave me shit last time for the dry pipes after I started it up just off the trailer. Told me to put it back on the trailer.

I took the lake sherrifs flattie out as he just got it and didn'tn know shit about it - dry pipes - i had no problems

you need one from lake county. they are ten bucks at the bait shop next to the boat launch good for a year.i got one for my boat but they are not inforced.
