Cole info

if your reffering to the blue and white starfire named hot cole that was in hot boat a few years back and is on coles old ad sheet. that would be my buddie mikes boat and its a jet and runs at about 100 last time out
This boat orginally belonged to my neighbor Randy. The boats name was "Hot n Cole" and had a blue trailer with crome fenders. I was only 15 when he had the boat. The boat was custom made and designed by him and Jim Cole. It orginally had a single plain intake as shown in the brochure photo's, and then was changed to a duel tunnel ram after the motor blew up during either a test run or photo shoot. The boat was punched out to 468 ci, bigger cam, heads, duel intake and nitrous. I was never lucky enough to go for a ride, but it sounded bad ass in the driveway!!.

Unforntunatly, Randy passed away sometime after the boat was finished, and sat in the families garage for a year or so. The family then used the boat as a trade-in at a local dealership for a vehicle. I will not say what type of vehicle as you would gasp:)bit.

I am glad to see that this boat still exisits. Randy was a great person who loved to go fast, on the water or on the street. He spent many hours designing the color scheme and what type of motor to use.

I hope your friend enjoys this boat for a long time, and keeps these v-drives alive:happy:.

Bad ass boat Mark!!! My very first boat was a Cole firestar with a 460. Loved that boat..... my oldest son was named Cole after those boats. Mine was not a t deck but I remember a guy at red rock in Parker with a slammed white dually and a bad ass Cole firestar jet on the bottle that ran about 105... that was a fast boat in 1990..

Jet Boat Performance has a Cole T deck jet for sale. I came close to making an offer on it a couple of times. He's selling pretty cheap if I remember. I've always liked the look of the Cole hull. I remember going to Cole with my dad when we were looking for a hull in 1980. They had some pretty nice boats in there!

Back in 1990 that was fast in any jet boat that ran the river. Or should I say actually ran that number! I have had the radar on my Cole at 84 and since changed a cam Which I haven't checked or even had a chance to do a dial in for over a year. Back injury caused me to park the boat and put it into storage. The only thing keeping me going at this point is my sons southwind 18 V. He is doing a ground up re-do and is going to turn some heads when it hits the water! Mark
