468 BBC, 13-1 comp, N/A, maybe Nos, but down the road. Cometic says install dry unless blown or Nos. If I do Nos again it will not be for quite a while. Question is; should I copper coat or not?

Thanks in advance

I've done both ways for a NO2 combo in a race car. I usually installed new ones dry, then used ones with copper coat. The head gaskets were one of the few things I never worried about with that car and it probably had a whole lot more NO2 than you'll put to your boat. Just watch the detonation.

Id coppercoat em unless your block and head surfaces look like mirror smooth. ive reused mls gaskets 3 times before replacing , just cleaned them up and recoated each time.coppercoat just helps them stay put and seal imo.i have 4 headbolts per cyl with 150psi static compression and run 17lbs now from big turbos.gm stock mls ls headgaskets coppercoated and this set has been reused once so far.
