Toby Clark of the CJ53 boat took the Bill and Lance Faulkner Memorial Trophy and the Mink coat in Burley, ID. He beat the standing compjet record by about 102% (I dont know the official numbers).

Congrats to Toby, Joey Cucci and Don Cucci!

Don and Joey:

A class act I saw first hand since I was the orange boat next to them. They struggled all weekend with distributor and other mechanical problems until Sunday when I saw them up front going away. From what I could see, Toby is a well liked fearless driver in a boat and unusual set up others had given up on. This is one of Dons old OMC outdrive Cobra hulls that they refurbished. It was a pleasure to have been so close to the Champions and have the Cuccis go over my unusual v-drive and hear their comments of Nostalgia. I hope Don is feeling better.
