For those of you out there that still long for a paper catalog or for that matter an up-to-date Online catalog we would just like to bring to your attention that in these difficult economic times we have never been more committed to this convenience for you. Fact= We produce and print a new 300 page color catalog every single year, as the mater of fact we employ a media design team that works on these services as well as our Online content. By February we will have our newest catalog ready for the upcoming boat show season.

We do recognize the market shift to the web and for those of you that this is your choice we offer the ability for you to even surf our "Print Version" of our catalog online page by page. In this day and age of modern technology it has never been easier to bring this information to you. We are excited to unveil a entire host of new web features during the first quarter of 2010. While we do recognize new boat sales are down those of you still using and enjoying our sport are still boating and for that matter supporting us and these are our ways of supporting you with new products and easier than ever methods of shopping. Its not designed to be a jab at anyone. We just want many of you to know or realize just how committed we are to offering you these services. We have many great alliances with the other companies referenced in these forums. We are just astounded when it seems as if some of the forum members make excuses for why you cannot have what you deserve and that is service options. I don't care if it's this industry or another you should be able to purchase with every kind of credit card and with no penalty of a minimum order. You should you be able to access product technical service or buy on the phone via a Toll free #800 number. You should be able to have a up to date catalog both online and in print. I mean really all we want to say is that you don't have to struggle without common conveniences of today. The post is merely to support those that want those services. We cannot be everything to everybody we are merely boating enthusiasts committed to this sport and want those of you that care to know it.

Then why did you just post in in the JetBoat Section where the talk of Rex marine not having a catolog is at? Why didn't you also post it in the V-Drive Section or all the other sections as well? Your very first sentence says it all.

Your absolutely right just a priority of posts really. I usually wouldn't post anything because I think Mike's (Rex) a great guy and a valued member of the boating distribution chain. What drove me to respond was just the amazement in the fact of people's response on why it is OK for us to regress as consumers, more than any direct attack towards him. I merely would have hijacked that thread if that was the intent. If what I'm offering as a free catalog and up to date information is an insult well please accept this apology. I'm a consumer and I have to be honest I'm looking for all of the things that we offer convenience wise. And when I shop I want the latest information and products. This is more about offering a "FREE" resource to you the forum members than anything else. From the amount of Catalog requests so far I see there are many people that appreciate our efforts.

I guess I personally find it odd that you offered up the printed catalog during the discussion on the other thread, kinda like a fire chaser IMO! you would have to be blatantly blind to not see this, there was a poster that said you have a nice catalog already....the seed had been planted.
This is a public forum and you are free to start any thread you want-as we are free to comment on your thread, hope I dont offend you too much! just some thoughts I had.
Not a cheerleader to Rex, but I have dealt with them for quite some time and they are close to me Geographically

I'm a junky for parts catalog's...I want one.
And that ain't no jab at Rex/Mr Delicious. I still have his last one, loaned it out several times and friends did order from it >it ain't looking too good right now. Think I taped the binding together a few times now lol
Summit's website...never really use it > I however can't wait for their new issue to arrive :)devil

I love summit catalogs. I don't get to spend as much time with them as I did before. They make me sad looking at things I no longer have money to buy. lol

I don't get it, a guy has a competitive advantage over a competitor and he cant take advantage of it w/ out getting flack? Personally I think it is cool that they offered some thing for free to our community.

catalogs

I and MANY others have asked Rex for a catalog for years. Haven't got one but I still buy from them. Thank you CP for offering one. I personally appreciate it. It is like porn to use boating junkies. :)devil
