Crusader 4500 Ve-Drive oil seal

I have a 1992 Crusader 4500 V-Drive with an oil drip where the main shaft enters it. Can the seal be replaced without having to remove the entire V-Drive? Are there any good vids or step by step instructions on repair that anyone is aware of? I'm far from being known as a mechanic, but I am willing to give it a go. Any help that you all may have will certainly be appreciated.

Couple of decent photos would help, I am more familiar with Casale V drives. If the seal can be pried out, it should be able to be replaced. I would try to keep it as intact as possible so you can go to a local bearing supply and buy a replacement. Once I see photos I might be able to offer more suggestions.
