:))eek:)) Always thought you were a manton guy. I odered a set of Mantons "UPS Red Label" at 3:00pm, and had them in my hand 8:30 am the next day. Elsinore to Havasu. Absolutly the best company I have ever dealt with.
I used Mantons when doing the Cobras, but have a good source for the Smith's.;) Apples to apples, to me.

Manton will next day any length down to the finite measurement.
Many of the .080 s are in every 05 length with big suppliers.
Doug Herberts brand are Manleys and have them in many lengths.
Titanium does not make good pushrods (AT ALL), unless you get to 10-2 alloys. But even then, don't waste your time.

I would say it depends on what you are looking for!!! I have a set of there tapered pushrods for the intakes and 7/16 .165 wall for the exhaust, truly a nice piece. For general purpose/lake hotrod I would just run manley .080" wall. Ran them in my 555 in TE, never had any problems.

After much time spent checking and double checking it appears I'll require a 8.350 and 7.400 >(7.407 to be exact) push rods. I'll make some calls tomorrow.
The above gave 90* from valve stem to retainer and very close to dead center, .050 wear pattern when tested with a dry-marker.

Thanks for all the suggestions and feedback.
As always it's much appreciated.
Ray

Below...home made adjustable push rod >worked great!
