Yeaterday we drove from Windsor to Steamboat then back to the Channel, we didn't see one dead carp. Didn't see any on Tuesday or all of last week. I don't know about south of Steamboat. Hopefully it has run it's cycle.

Saw about half a dozen dead carp at the lower end of Parker. I'm sure they will tend to collect in the no-wake zone or marina in front of the Bluewater.
The casino maintenance folks (or state parks) better stay on top of cleaning them out of there or it will smell to high hell in no time. Just one or two in the marina carried a nasty smell throughout.

The carp die off may or may not hit Parker.

It is likely to do so, since the virus spread downriver from Mohave to Havasu. It's only logical that it will continue south, probably all the way to Mexico, eventually.

There's easily 5 or 6 (or more) dead carp on the Strip every day, even without the Koi Virus. I think people are just more aware of them now because of the news about the Virus.

We spent yesterday at the Head gate (Bluewater) sandbar.
Saw several fresh kills floaters.

Yeah, the floaters were collecting on Friday across from the Bluewater.
