Just a word of caution to anyone that has to go to the DMV for anything, if you are standing in line for them to open with probably 200 others and when you finally get up to the door (40 minutes later) and you are getting close to getting your number and an older Arab man just walks right by you and go's straight up to the front counter and pretends he doesn't know what is going on and the woman at the booth gives him a number and you raise your voice and somewhat yell out that he didn't stand in line and it was bullshit that he got a number before all of us others and then a security guard confronts you and tells you that you have to keep your voice down and you argue with him and then a supervisor comes over and tells you to get out of line and leave or she is going to call the sheriffs and you tell her to take the mans number and make him stand in line like everyone else and then (4) Sheriffs show up very quickly and tell you they can arrest you for threatening a Federal Official is a felony and you (along with others standing in line)tell them you threatened no-one and then they tell you they will arrest you for disturbing the peace if you don't leave right now and then she takes your drivers licence from the officer and enters you in the system as " Banned" and you can never come back and then (4) officers escort you to your vehicle I highly suggest keeping you mouth shut and letting people do whatever they want whenever they want (especially if they are from another country) at the DMV.

I tried to call the main DMV office in Sacramento and all I could get is a recording with hours of operations and to contact your local DMV branch for further assistance. I tried to stand up for what was right and it got me nowhere and almost landed in jail. Now I know why nobody ever says anything about anything. Every worker in that DMV office look and act pissed off to hell. I thought postal workers hated their jobs but I think DMV workers hate theirs even more and now I can see why.

Funny thing, when I was getting escorted out, some people started clapping the only problem is that I don't know if they were clapping because I stood my ground or they were happy to see me leave!!

DMV has it's own "court system". I think you can request a hearing, were hopefully someone will listen to your side of things and make a rational decision.

The problem is, the supervisor who banned you is probably the God Parent of the commissioner hearing your case.

I'd keep fighting it all the way to Arnold. Shit, these people are here to assist you. You are the customer and you get treated like a second class citizen. Besides, you gotta be able to drive...

Get an attorney, file suit against the DMV and the police department. There for sure is some attorney that is trying to make a name for him/herself that will take this case on contingency. file the suit for like $10,000,000 for mental anguish, discrimination and a bunch of other bullcrap. that might make you feel better.grn

I ride my bike by the El Cajon DMV everyday on the way to the gym. These people hate their jobs more than anyone I know. They all sluggishly walk into the building. I have never met a happy DMV clerk, which is why I could care less about the 3-4 days off per month Arnie gave them.

I would have done the same thing to the same extent. Those "People" seem to think USA owes them somethig and cutting the line would have pissed me off to no end!

If you are unhappy with the sherriff I would let them know also. The commanding officers take civilian compaints very seriously.

Actually the officers were O.K.. (3) watched and 1 talked. I was pretty pissed at that point and the "F" bombs were flowing pretty good at that point. I really thought they were going to handcuff me and take me in. One of them was very very BIG!!!

The only DMV office I visit is the one in Needles. Other than that I use AAA for all my other DMV needs.

The $45 membership fee is worth it just to avoid the DMV...the roadside assistance is just a bonus...

As far as your treatment, if it were me, I'd be contacting every county and state official that represents my area that I could. Will it help, maybe not, but it would make me feel better...
