Just FYI a 4.565 bore by a 4.25 stroke does not work out to 567CI.

I'll give you $4k for it, that's a fair price and I have cash in hand. I can pick this engine up tomorrow at 1pm or Friday at 3pm.

Im kidding, but you are too with that price right? If you look around you can buy twice the engine for half that price.

Really. Your trying to compare a NOS drag boat motor to a pump gas poker run type motor thats more for like a 26 foot DCB or some 29 foot cat? If I ever want drag boat stuff I will first stop at my buddy Jeff Martins house or go to Gordon at Pfaff. I also see your a Blythe Big River person. Nice place I towed up many flatties to lost lake for years, had a totally different motor set up than what I posted for sale in this ad. This is a decent cubic inch deal that will run on 91 pump gas. will that olds No? Can you hang that deal at nearly full throttle for miles across Havasu? No. Not because Millers motor is a POS nor do I think its over priced I dont care and I'm not going to keep wasting a mans time if I am not interested in buying his deal. Do I think your comparison is totally stupid? Yes. Also maybe you should realize that when having a motor built by a professional that prides himself in building the best product he can and the years of testing and dyno time have a price tag as well. This is not my first experience With Bryce. The guy will spent many hours not just porting my heads yet on the flow bench getting each port balanced with 1 and other as best as he can. Even if its not a big dollar cemetrical port drag boat deal. The power per dollar I believe is totally fair for the craftsmanship that he put into this motor as well as other builders products.
Im sure other top builders feel there knowledge of combinations, cam choices and all the little tricks they have learned over the years have some value in pricing their motor work as well. Thats why its priced lower than the dollar amount I have into it.
Last you don't have to wish me luck on the sale. For the market in bigger boats it's a decent price. Instead why dont you just leave my ad alone and let me deal with people that may want to purchase it.

wow

Wow only 18,500.00
Can I get three of them lol.
I know it takes a lot to dig into a pump gas motor to make that kind of power. Although it can be done as you just laid our the recipe lol and done a lot cheaper that 18,500.00
Nice motor though :) congrats.

Well said... I was wondering why there was so much "Thread Jacking" going on here and remember this is PB and a jet boat site, what else can we expect? Throw a prop on and come play with the men that run their shit WFO all day long... When having a motor built you pay for the knowledge and lessons learned from the builder. If you don't want to pay for it then built it yourself and you will ultimately pay x2 for learning on your own.

Well, I will stay away from your fake diamond for that kind of money, and buy the real thing for what your asking.......

Again, good luck with the sale........:hmmm:
HP to dollar this is a good buy, Let Walshmotorsports sell his stuff without the unwanted opinions from the cheap seats... No offense wouuld you like it if he went on your ad and bad mouth your product? Are you trying to sell a motor and now have competition from someone that is offering a great motor at a good price?

Im just voicing my opinion, thats it...I build my own stuff, have been for many years...I was just comparing the parts list of the 2 engines along with the price. If someone would pay that for what is listed has more money than brains. Oh, and i have ran my little 800 hp pump gas deal wfo for miles for about 6 years now.......so i have an idea on what it takes. This is the internet after all, so the cheap seats have a voice in this too. I never bad mouthed anything, just said it was over priced bud....."in my opinion" thats all i said so get over it.

No offense to Eagle, but I don't think I would want to hold the throttle wide open for miles with their crank and rods.

Seriously. do that many people have the time to pull ads from craigslist and compare to a motor they are not going to buy? Then your going to type on my ad the thingss like its "to much, priced way to high"
Lets be grown men here let me help you. DON'T BUY IT AND MOVE ON TO THE NEXT AD. Just be some what respectful and realize that because you think its to much doesn't mean it is. Call Teague Marine and get a quote. Its for a different market than your jet boat.
Look. Would you pay $10'000 for a 1600 VW motor? Stock crank, rods, heads, carb? I have 5 BAJA 1000's under my belt and have seen dozens of people gladly, in the offroad industry pay that all day long at FAT Performance or Giese Racing Engines please call them and let them know its way over priced. Is it over priced? Its a huge price for the engine! But when you have customers that want it and have a passion and the dollars for it they sell it.They build a great 1600, I don't go call and FAT tell him I found a 1835 on craigslist for $900 and his is way over priced! Yes.....you can get those parts for probably pennies on the dollar.
Last thing. I want to sell this motor I ran an ad. It does have a OBO on there. if someone comes with cash as I do when looking to buy something then I bargain and make my deal. I realize this is the internet but please take note I took the time to post something for sale. There is a market for jet boat guys like yourself and then their is some high end boaters on here that have 6 figure rides on here as well. I don't tell them "they wasted there money, my boat floats to". Its all what you want and you can spend your dollar any way you choose.
So please stop posting ads on my classified from some elses craigslist ad or Millers stuff. Dude, its not even yours for sale!
If you don't like it be a man and go browse the next ad. Thanks again. And again.....
Here is $10,000, 95 HP of 1600 eye candy. Not everyone wants the same thing. Just showing you a pic, not trying to sell this motor.
